  1. Eating Healthy:

It is best that when one starts in the morning for breakfast to begin with, to eat a good healthy well balanced meal in the morning. Eating healthy like this at the start of one’s day as opposed to eating heavier, or hardier at the end of the day will help one utilize, and burn energy better throughout the day. At best eat  light at the end of the day  and nothing before sleeping too heavy at all. Eating colorful foods are best due to nutrient values such as greens, vegetables, also naturally sweet vegetables, and fruit should be eaten daily, whether one is a vegetarian or not, and this is a matter of one’s own personal choice. I prefer to eat some meat at times usually fish, eggs, and chicken at times beef or others but I strictly keep pork and unusual meats out of my diet habits.

            When digesting your food it is good to start with drinking a full glass of water, this not only tells you if you are really actually hungry, but as well can help keep you from over eating before or during a meal, and you should never force yourself.

            Good safe manners for me is not to talk or engage in other activities while eating, especially with your mouth full as this can produce choking, eating too fast, and too much, therefore hurting oneself. Stay calm while eating, eat slowly and chew food properly.

            These are things like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, and herbs, which can help you to metabolize food better, reduce over eating, and help prevent cancer, and other diseases. Some of the significant types of supplements that I know of are such things as Multivitamins, Oligonucleotides which aid in absorption and thorough metabolizing of our daily nutrition intakes especially when promoted by the useful drinking of water to better enhance the processes of digestion. Now with Oligo, Vitamins, and other Mineral Nutrients generally 8 to 16 ounces of water is good, I say more or less depending upon your own needs to drink when thirsty throughout the day almost daily.

3. Resting:

      Some points of view based on recent and historical information may differ on the matter of resting. According to some 81/2 hours of bed rest should be healthy and sufficient for a person each night and / or day.

      Another point of view on this matter of rest pertains to philosophy coming out of Muhammadan forms of Islam which in addition to what I have just stated about 81/2 hours of resting, an afternoon nap is also beneficial if one is able to do so.

      It is also good to drink a few cups of lemon juice, and honey with a mint tea to help one relax and breath better while resting at the times of one’s rest. This is a personal recommendation based on experience, and an Islamic perspective concerning the drinking of tea as well.

2-     Honey is a known natural healing agent though one who is diabetic should use less, or none, and becareful of their overall diet, work with a doctor, and licensed nutritionist on this.

I have found that it has been noted by some doctors, and even the military that sleeping at the start of one’s rest on your back is perhaps the best way to begin going to sleep. It has been noted by some doctors, and medical professionals that sleeping on one’s side places pressure on vital organs such as the lungs, and heart. Keeping the head elevated as comfortable is good as well. I prefer personally taking showers in the mornings after waking but before bed is good as well depending on the days activities.

 

4. Exercise:

      As being one familiar with sports, basic military conditioning, training in the martial arts, and having attended quite a few gym, and exercise areas where I have worked with, and even assisted others in exercising, I could say that a good exercise regiment begins with seeing one’s doctor to start. As one then upon medical examination is capable of exercising, exercise should be engaged in slowly, at one’s own pace, and moderately 3 to 4 days a week, for 30 minutes to one hour starting, usually around the time of waking before breakfast or in the evening before bed after one’s food has settled from even a light dinner or snack. Drinking a little water is okay if one needs to during the course of exercising, but not much eating or drinking before or during any exercises as such could be harmful. Perhaps a small snack may be okay at the time of exercise as it should not cause adverse affects in some cases.

      To prepare for exercise one could do circulatory / flexibility types of warm up routines like swinging one’s arms in large, and small circles rapidly, and / or then doing jumping jacks or running in place for a few minutes to get started. Usually a warm up is like between 5 to 10 minutes then a more standard regular routine can be gotten into at one’s own pace and ability. Never do anything you may not be ready for, use to doing, or know how to do, and working with someone is okay if you have an understanding of these things, but at times alone can be just as beneficial if not more so in exercising depending on the individual. Basically, No one knows you but you so work exercising that way, don’t compete with anyone when just starting out.

2-     Push ups or light weight exercises

3-     Sit ups or Hand to toe cherry pickers

4-     Meditation or other exercises if you want to wind down or do more as able.

5-     Relax, recover, and this is the end of a basic routine.

  • Decongestants such as pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) especially if you have high blood pressure

  • Alka Seltzer, since this contains large amounts of salt
  • Herbal medications
If you have a condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol underlying your chronic kidney disease, take all medications as directed and see your health care practitioner as recommended for follow-up and monitoring.
